Kate DiChristopher-Yuen, Managing Consultant

Kate DiChristopher Yuen has been driving talent management strategies and initiatives, as well as organizational design and change, for 15 years. Her expertise spans talent, leadership, organizational development & design, strategy and training.

Prior to joining Notion Consulting, Kate co-led the Talent function for an integrated communications agency within Omnicom. Accountable for building organizational models that resulted in increased profitability and scalability for growth, she has deep experience successfully transitioning organizational architectures from design to implementation. Partnering with executives to drive their businesses in healthcare and corporate communications, Kate provided strategic leadership in talent offerings that span the lifecycle of employee development and organizational growth. In her role of SVP, Business Partner, Kate also created and implemented philosophies, processes and tools for talent engagement and retention, career pathing, performance management, training, culture and talent acquisition. She additionally developed and aligned the function’s annual talent strategy with agency objectives and growth goals.

In 2013 Kate took a one-year sabbatical to pursue her dream of living in China. During that time, Kate taught American business culture courses and university-level English at Jiangxi University in southeast China. An avid traveler, Kate spent a substantial amount of her time abroad traveling throughout China, Vietnam and Cambodia.

Kate started her career in HR and talent acquisition at an intellectual property law firm.

Kate holds a Masters of Arts in Social-Organizational Psychology from Columbia University and a B.A. in Psychology with Business minor from Binghamton University.

Last, but certainly not least, Kate lives in Manhattan with her chef husband, infant son and family dog. At times awarded the title of Chief Chaos Coordinator at home, she spends a significant amount of time keeping the peace between her active son, in nonstop play mode, and aging pooch, who just wants to enjoy his golden years.
