Nikki Kurt has been helping brands and individuals tell their stories through Communication Design for over 10 years. Her broad expertise spans illustration, graphic design, branding, storytelling, visual facilitation, and content visualization which has led her to share her collected wisdom and passion through Graphic Storytelling.

Graphic Storytelling is the practice of the art of Visual Listening – capturing the language of the moment. She has drawn in front of groups of thousands to help align people, themes and relationships. In real time simplifying complex spoken information into simple visuals. She has also trained hundreds of people all over the world in this method of Mindful Note-taking.

Prior to Graphic Storytelling, Nikki was a Designer and Realness Artist at ?What If! Innovation Partners, where she collaborated with Fortune 500 clients & consumers to create new brands, products, experiences and services. She also was responsible for helping to build out the design offerings to enhance the project communication. Nikki specialized in session design helping to design, produce, and facilitate: on-the-spot concept illustrations, graphic recording, data visualization, consumer profiles, user journeys, and rapid prototyping. Nikki has worked with companies across a variety of industries throughout the years, including IDEO, Johnson & Johnson, ABandBev, Citi, OnDeck, Iceland Academy of the Arts, Cook Medical, Pfizer, World 50, Pepsico, and Open Center.

Nikki holds a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Communications Design from Pratt Institute. And, last but not least, she is a traveler of the world and a seeker of truth. Nikki’s personal mission is to expand consciousness by empowering others through mindfulness and creativity.
