Rachel Cooke, Consulting

Rachel Cooke has more than 15 years of experience in Leadership and Organization Development.  Her experience includes the Fortune 100, high-growth startups, an much in between. She has held roles in Human Resources, Client Management, and Operations Leadership. The breadth and diversity of her experience enable a highly informed perspective on how a business is run from the inside out; allowing her to hone in on key issues and opportunities, ask the right questions, and ultimately bring her clients quickly to actionable solutions.

Rachel leverages her expertise in talent and leadership to facilitate workshops that activate outstanding performance, and to consult on the development of talent strategies that ignite business results. Rachel’s specialization in Organization Development informs the strategies and change plans she develops for organizations undergoing significant culture and transformational change.   Rachel’s client roster has included American Express, Assurant, and XenoPsi.

Prior to consulting, Rachel spent 7 years with American Express in their function.  During that time, she developed talent and succession strategies, supported significant culture change, facilitated organization redesigns, and advised senior leaders across lines of business on leadership strategies and solutions.   Prior to American Express, she managed operations at McMaster Carr Supply Company for 5 years, building and developing outstanding teams and processes to enable operational excellence.  Here she also developed a company-wide onboarding strategy and led training and development efforts that significantly enhanced operational quality and productivity.

Rachel holds a Masters of Arts in Social Organizational Psychology from Columbia University. She received her B.S. in Human Development from Cornell University.
