With her analytical mind, solution-orientation and positive energy, Janelle shines when she’s equipping others with the information and insights needed to make smart business decisions. Having spent time in finance leadership roles in both public and private companies, Janelle has a diverse background that helps her approach hurdles with an open mind.

Prior to joining Notion Consulting, Janelle was a Finance Director for Marina Maher Communications LLC, an Omnicom agency. With her nimble leadership she evolved the finance team in a dynamic and ever-changing environment, creating a collaborative culture and providing mentoring and career guidance along the way. Before leading finance for consulting firm agencies, Janelle spent time as the Controller at Moody Insurance Agency, Inc and prior to that, an auditor with BKD, LLP. In these roles, Janelle learned how to fuel rapid growth, integrate acquired companies and evaluate the financials across industries.

Janelle is a strong partner with executives and client-facing teams, always working to break down the “mystery” of finance and empower others to successfully manage their business. She brings calm to the chaos of implementing new systems and processes to improve efficiency and analysis.

Janelle is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Masters degree in Professional Accountancy as well as a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln where she majored in Accounting.

Janelle enjoys exploring New York city with her husband, picnics in Central Park, traveling the world, and learning about art in her free time.
