Mari Fukuyama has been an internal communications specialist for more than 20 years. Her expertise includes strategy development, core messaging, rewriting and copy editing for change initiatives, including HR transformation, launch and branding of benefit plans/programs, mergers and acquisitions, reorganization and outsourcing, and mission/vision/values.
Over the years, Mari has developed successful digital and print campaigns for clients across a broad range of industries — including engineering, technology, manufacturing, telecommunications, healthcare, utilities, and retail. Her focus is to create employee communications that promote understanding, engagement, dialogue, and informed decision-making.
Prior to her career in consulting, Mari worked as an associate editor and freelance journalist for several Southern California publications.
Mari received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English from UCLA. A native of Southern California, she currently lives in Los Angeles.
