Paul Slater is an experienced consultant, who helps global organizations and their leadership teams to deliver growth and strategic change. With 22 years consultancy experience, Paul knows what it takes to engage with leaders and help them to navigate complicated change. Often acting as a “translator” between IT and the business, he has an excellent appreciation of change in the context of global IT transformations. Paul usually works with organizations where product quality and integrity are paramount to brand and therefore employs systems thinking in his approach, always considering the broader impact of change.
Recently his work has focused on developing new target operating models for clients looking to transform their businesses. Paul works to ensure strategic clarity. Then he ensures sufficient engagement to provide a sustainable operating model across all of its components including leadership behaviors, processes, people and skills, technology and information.
Paul has worked with a range of clients including many household names such as Zurich Global Life, Liverpool Victoria, GSK, VELUX, Magnet Kitchens, Shell and General Motors.
During his career, Paul worked for Accenture as an Organizational Change Consultant and Senior Manager. He later joined Oakland Consulting, one of Europe’s leading Operational Excellence consultancies, where he progressed from Managing Consultant to Partner.
Paul holds a degree in Psychology from the University of Leeds and an MBA from LUBS.
