Valerie Brophy
SENIOR CHANGE ENABLEMENT MANAGER

Valerie Brophy has been helping clients grow and transform for over 10 years. She brings a unique capability set combining systems and design thinking, psychology, behavioral economics, and data analytics to her work in leading business strategy and organizational effectiveness.

Throughout her career journey, Valerie has built a diverse skillset that provides her a multidisciplinary lens through which she faces the demands of today’s complex business challenges. Her client experience spans across all industries, organization sizes, and many business functions (HR, IT, Marketing, Finance, Regulatory and Compliance). Prior to joining Notion, Valerie has worked as a workforce trends researcher at Kenexa and with clients as a management consultant at IBM, Slalom, CapTech, and GP Strategies. Her client work includes extensive experience in change strategy and management, organizational design, employee engagement, competency and talent models, talent assessment and selection, training and development, people analytics, communications and marketing, and project management.

Valerie has a Master of Business Administration from University of Minnesota, Carlson School of Management and a Master of Arts in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from Minnesota State University. In addition, she has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising from Iowa State University.

When not working, Valerie stays focused on learning and trying new things. Her creative outlets are cooking, painting, and tackling home improvement projects. She is an avid fan of the arts—namely theater, museums, and discovering local artists. Books and being outside—hiking, kayaking, and more—fuel her creative energy.
