Laura Luciano is a strategic business and brand consultant who develops compelling and thoughtful creative solutions to drive growth for Fortune 100 companies as well as emerging brands. Her background as a talented graphic designer and her insightful use of creative intelligence enables her to boil client challenges down to their essence and deliver customized design solutions that are accessible to their specific audiences. Carefully listening to each client’s ideas and branding goals, she incorporates their vision with her creative direction.
Using an in-depth understanding of what each business is about, Ms. Luciano puts together a tangible strategy with a combination of creativity and business acumen. She has first-hand knowledge of how organizations work, and enhances brand image and communication in multiple media channels, both traditional and online.
In her current role, Laura has directed projects from concept through completion for a wide range of industries: pharmaceutical, consumer products, technology, family entertainment, law, edible communities, food and wine, stationery, and non-profit.
Previously she was Vice President, Creative Director for Stromberg Consulting, where she provided strategic creative direction for client organizations and was instrumental in developing and growing the Creative Design and Technology practice from a small player into a robust industry competitor. She developed a global marketing brand for Kimberly-Clark creating a dynamic universal internal brand and marketing legacy.
Ms. Luciano began her career as a Graphic Designer creating Brand Identities and Print Communications, and progressed to Art Director to promote brands through print, signage, radio, and TV. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from SUNY – The College at New Paltz and has outstanding technical expertise in all state-of-the-art programs.
Ms. Luciano bridges the creative and business aspects together to help clients find their unique place. She is a perfectionist, working within budgets and deadlines. She has a proven record of building strong client relationships, demonstrated by winning the prestigious FedEx Kinko’s Purple Promise Award for creating ideas enhancing the total customer experience, building customer trust into long-term business partnerships.
Lastly, Laura can be found experimenting with recipes from her home on the East End of Long Island in Hampton Bays and writing about her delicious adventures on her blog: outeastfoodie.com and her award-winning column, What’s in Season, for Edible East End Magazine. When she is is not eating her way across the two forks she can be found at the bay beach with her dog Trixie and husband Chris or at her rooftop garden learning how to grow her green thumb.
